Even though his Dad had tried to reassure him, Albus was still worried. What if he was Slytherin. He didn’t think he could stand playing Quidditch for them.
They might want him though. He didn’t want to be too full of himself, but he was fairly good. Harry had taught him. And Ginny.
The Slytherin team would want him to play differently than the style that Harry had taught him. They’d want him to use curses and jinxes to make people fall off their brooms – more than once had he heard Harry’s story about all of the bones in his arms going.
Scorpio didn’t seem like a very nice character, either.
Albus had met him at a summer time festival in Diagon Alley.
Scorpio had looked him up and down, then stared at him as if he was something nasty that he had found on his shoe after a visit to the elephant enclosure of the zoo, then turned away.
There were other possibilities, though. Maybe Ravenclaw. Ginny had attempted to teach him on many occasions, but had walked away a little annoyed, muttering somethng about “leave that job to the teachers.”
Or Hufflepuff. He wasn’t sure. Was he loyal? It was hard to tell. He hadn’t been in any life or death situations, risking his life for his friends, but…
He’d love to be a Gryffindor.
